The "CEO & CSR 2008 - Rethinking The Way We Do Business" Conference will take place at the Hilton Athens .

The Hilton Athens (www1.hilton.com/en_US/hi/hotel/ATHHITW-Hilton-Athens/index.do) considers itself one of the most luxurious hotels in Greece. Ever since it opened its doors to receive its first visitor, the hotel has been a point of reference in the social, political and economic life of Athens and, by extension, of the whole of Greece. Renovated ahead of the 2004 Olympic Games with an eye to keeping its distinctive style, the Hilton Athens is a state-of-the-art, five-star hotel worthy of that title, with modern networks and facilities, restaurants, swimming pools, shopping area, a spa, spacious halls and conference rooms as well as all other comforts expected of a European deluxe hotel of the twenty-first century.

Special room rates have been secured for our foreign conference delegates. For any booking enquiries or special room rates, please do not hesitate to contact Ms. Peggy Filippou, Conference Logistics Manager, on +30 210 998 4905 or at [email protected].

we care! - Hilton's environmental programme in Europe since 2006 (www.hiltonwecare.com)

For over 12 years Hilton International has been a pioneer in moving towards environmental sustainability. We take our environmental responsibility seriously and are firmly committed to improving our performance. Our mission is to ultimately become the industry leader in environmental management.

Through its programme, Hilton International has established a clear environmental policy which involves all team members. It focuses on four key environmental issues:

- energy efficiency
- waste reduction
- water efficiency
- chemicals

A New Way of Acting

The idea developed within Europe & Africa executive team towards the end of 2005. A need was felt to focus more on containing escalating energy bills. At the same time, an enviromental cultural initiative needed to be developed. It was decided to develop a programme that would involve all Team Members at all levels.

The programme needed to educate Team Members and make them more aware of environmental issues and how to relate to them personally.

The success of we care! is hinged on the efforts of our Team Members and their commitment to the programme. If you would like to be a part of this programme or indeed assist us in improving our environment, visit www.hiltonwecare.com or contact Ms. Michaela Adams, we care! Manager - Europe, at [email protected].
